Chickens for Shabbos

Chickens for Shabbos was started in 2004 by Mr. Robby Neuman when he became keenly aware of the plight of Agunos, Grushos, and Melamdim. Guided for many years by Rabbi Fabian Schoenfeld Zt"l of Young Israel of Kew Garden Hills and Rabbi Doniel Lander Shlit'"a, it focuses on the harassed and ill-served of Israeli society: divorcees and abandoned women - those left alone to support their families. Since 2011, Chickens for Shabbos has partnered with American Friends of Yad Eliezer/B'ezri and together have distributed nearly $18,000,000.
